At DANIX, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is processed safely and responsibly. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and protect your information when you use DANIX services, including through integrations with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Zalo. By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We may collect various types of information to provide, maintain and improve our services, including:

Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

Information such as your name, email address, phone number and other details that can identify you. DANIX does NOT collect or store sensitive information: health status, financial data, biometrics, bank account information, criminal data, or biological characteristics.

Non-personal Information

Data that does not directly identify you, such as usage statistics, browser type and device information.

Platform Data

Information collected through our integrations with third-party platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Zalo — including user interactions, engagement metrics and conversation data that you authorize us to access.

How We Use Your Information

The data we collect is used to:

  • Provide and maintain DANIX services.
  • Improve user experience and platform functionality.
  • Communicate with users and respond to inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with legal obligations and security standards.

Account Verification Methods

DANIX applies the following verification methods:

  • Email verification
  • SMS OTP (One-Time Password)
  • Phone number

DANIX does NOT require or store:

  • Photos/videos of identity documents (National ID, Passport)
  • Biometric data for authentication

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. However, we may share your data with:

Service Providers

We will share data when necessary to maintain service quality, provided that partner organizations comply with information security standards and Vietnam's information security laws.

Legal Authorities

When required by law, we may disclose information to comply with legal requirements, regulations or court orders.

Data Security and Storage

a. Security Commitment

We are committed to protecting Customer data throughout the provision and operation of DANIX software services. All data is stored on server systems that meet security standards, with appropriate encryption mechanisms and strict access controls.

Data access and processing is carried out only to the extent necessary for operating, maintaining, and improving service quality, or as required by competent state authorities under applicable law.

b. Proactive Data Deletion

To optimize storage capacity and meet the data management needs of each Customer, the system provides a "Storage Options" feature, allowing Customers to proactively configure automatic data deletion at time intervals supported by the system.

Note: Once automatic deletion is executed according to the Customer's settings, the deleted data cannot be recovered in any form. Customers are responsible for proactively backing up important data before the configured deletion date.

c. Data After Service Plan Expiry

In the event that a Customer's service plan expires or is terminated, data storage and processing are governed as follows:

  • Grace period: The system continues to store the Customer's data for 2 years from the official plan end date. During this period, the Customer may renew the service to continue using existing data.
  • Automatic data deletion: After 2 years from the plan end date, if the Customer does not renew and no other agreement or configuration exists, the system will automatically delete all data to free up storage resources.
  • Priority rule: If the Customer has configured proactive data deletion (Section 4.b), the system will apply whichever timeline is shorter.

d. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for proactively reviewing, configuring and managing data storage options to suit their needs in the "Account Settings" section.

Customers bear full responsibility for any risks and damages arising from data loss due to failure to renew the service plan on time or due to automatic deletion settings that the Customer previously configured.

Platform-specific Data Collection and Processing

DANIX integrates with multiple platforms to enhance conversation management and service delivery. Below is how we handle data from these platforms:

Facebook and Instagram Platforms

To ensure proper functionality, our application requires specific permissions from your Facebook account. You will be prompted to grant these permissions upon first login. Please note that the application may not function correctly if any required permission is not granted.

  • pages_show_list, pages_manage_metadata: to retrieve the list and access tokens of Pages you manage.
  • pages_manage_engagement: to reply to and like comments on behalf of Pages you manage.
  • pages_messaging, pages_read_engagement: to read, receive and reply to Page messages.
  • instagram_basic, instagram_manage_messages (optional): to manage Instagram Business messages linked to your Page.

Additionally:

  • Data access via Facebook and Instagram APIs: DANIX collects data such as comments, messages, likes and other engagement metrics via the Facebook and Instagram APIs.
  • Webhooks for real-time updates: Webhooks deliver real-time updates about user interactions, allowing DANIX to immediately process and respond to platform activity.
  • Data processing and use: Data is processed to track interactions, manage customer service responses and generate analytics reports.
  • Data storage: Facebook and Instagram data is securely stored on DANIX's own servers with strong encryption protocols.

TikTok Platform

  • Data access via TikTok API: DANIX accesses user engagement data, including comments, likes, shares and engagement metrics via the TikTok API. This data is used solely to provide services to our customers.
  • Real-time data via Webhooks: DANIX receives real-time data notifications from TikTok webhooks for specific events, such as new comments or interactions.
  • Data processing: Received data is processed to enhance user experience, track interactions and generate reports. Only authorized data is collected.
  • Data storage: TikTok data is securely stored on DANIX's own servers, with encryption both in transit and at rest.

Zalo Platform

  • Data access via Zalo API: DANIX collects message and interaction data via the Zalo Official Account API to manage customer communication on the Zalo platform.
  • Data processing: Data is processed to respond to user inquiries, manage conversations and build customer profiles.
  • Data storage: Zalo data is securely stored and encrypted on DANIX servers.

DANIX complies with the privacy and data security policies of each platform and adheres to all relevant international regulations.

Facebook Data Deletion (Data Deletion Callback)

As required by Meta (Facebook) for applications that process user data, DANIX provides a standard mechanism allowing Facebook users to request deletion of all data related to their Facebook account from the DANIX system.

How to Submit a Request

  1. Go to Facebook Settings > Apps and Websites.
  2. Find the "DANIX" app in the list and select "Remove".
  3. Facebook will automatically send a data deletion request to our callback endpoint along with a confirmation code.
  4. DANIX will return a URL in the format https://danix.vn/fb-deletion/{code} so you can check the status of your deletion request.

Processing Timeline

Facebook data deletion requests will be processed within a maximum of 30 days from receipt. Upon completion, all data collected via the Facebook API (Page information, messages, comments, tokens) linked to your Facebook account will be permanently deleted from the DANIX database and cannot be recovered.

Manual Request via Email

In addition to the automatic Facebook mechanism, you may send a data deletion request directly to hotro@danix.vn along with your identifying information (registered email, Facebook User ID if available) for our assistance.

International Data Transfers

DANIX may transfer your data to countries outside your own, including countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). We ensure that appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, are in place to protect your data.

Data Protection Rights

User Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law (such as GDPR or CCPA), you may have the following rights:

  • Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your data in specific circumstances.
  • Right to data portability: Receive a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object or restrict processing: Request that we stop or limit the processing of your personal data.

DANIX Rights

DANIX reserves the right to use the images, brands and information of customers, partners or any third parties (hereinafter "Brands") for the purpose of developing and showcasing success stories and use cases. This use includes but is not limited to:

  1. Brand Promotion: Using the Brand's images, logos and related information in marketing materials, advertising and communications.
  2. Research and Analysis: Using information to analyze and develop DANIX products and services.
  3. Success Documentation: Showcasing success stories, case studies and similar materials related to the Brand.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

DANIX uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance user experience and improve our services. You can control the use of cookies through your browser settings.

Cookies are files containing a small amount of data, commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. They are sent to your browser from websites you visit and stored in your device's internal memory.

Links to Other Websites

Our service may contain links to other websites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that website. Note that these external websites are not operated by us. We therefore recommend reviewing the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children's Privacy

DANIX services are not intended for anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete it from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take the necessary action.

Policy Changes

We reserve the right to update this policy to reflect changes in technology and legal requirements. Any changes will be communicated to Customers via email or a direct notification on the software interface at least 30 days before taking effect.
